"Fuchsia pink: The heart of a Zeeuws Knoopje (Astrantia Major) " is an (extreme) macro photo of a small part of an Astrantia Major (Zeeuws Knoopje). Because only a small part of this flower was photographed, natural abstraction takes place. With the naked eye, you cannot see these "little flowers" (which in reality are not real flowers, but I think they are the pistils in the heart of the Astrantia Major) as well as in this photo.
A low focus was chosen when taking this picture, which creates a dreamy atmosphere.
This also creates a sense of depth in the work. The stems all fade more and more, the further they move away from the focus point.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully in a waiting room, bedroom or study. But this work would also look great above the sofa in the living room!
