The frozen lake of Torneträsk near the Swedish city of Kiruna. Torneträsk is Sweden's sixth largest lake. Located in the Torne River basin, this beautiful lake covers an area of 330 km², is more than 70 kilometres long, has a maximum depth of 168 m and is filled with ice in winter. The point in the west of the lake is less than two kilometres from the border with Norway, and the lake is then more than 10 kilometres parallel to the border with Norway.
