On a frosty morning in March, I found this fairytale scene. The soft morning light stroked over the still frozen plants. The contrast between warm and cool tones, between softness and hardness, fascinates me.

I don't represent the world exactly as we perceive it with our human eyes. With light and colours I try to 'paint' the atmosphere and capture the feeling of the moment. The subjects get their own world in my photographs and I hope to take people on a little journey into these macro…
