The great frigatebird is a seabird that breeds in the Galapagos Islands and elsewhere. The males, when they want to woo females, put on a very large red throat pouch. Males with brighter throat pouches are more attractive to females.
The great frigatebird eats fish it catches itself, but also steals prey from other birds.
