A group of Red-billed oxpecker (Buphagus erythrorhynchus) on the neck of an Angolan giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis angolensis). The oxpeckers remove the parasites from the neck of the giraffe.
The friendship between these two animals have benefits for both. The giraffe is getting rid of its parasites, whilst the oxpeckers feed on those parasites.
