For this work, a portrait photograph of the famous Mexican painter Frida was used as a starting point. The colour of the original background has been darkened. Soap bubbles have also been added, located partly behind and partly in front of the suspended lilac-coloured picture frame. An optical gimmick has been used to make Frida stand out from the frame. This can be seen above at her red hair bow and below at her beautiful gold necklace hanging over the picture frame. Finally, her signature has been added.
