This picture of the Overdiepse Polder was taken at the beginning of the spring season.
The Overdiepse Polder is an elongated polder located between the Bergsche Maas and the Oude Maasje in the river clay area near the municipality of Waalwijk in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant. As part of the Room for the River project, the area has been designated as a water storage area for high water levels in the rivers. The original farms have been demolished and replaced by new farms built on mounds.
