Fresh Green Beans - a bowl of freshly picked green beans from our garden. It is fall and the beans love the cooler weather. We harvest enough for a meal every day. The mood is that of a cloudy early morning.
The sun is trying to peak through the clouds and skimming over the beans. The view is birds eye looking down on the beans in their ceramic bowl on top of empty hive frames.
Our garden is slowly going to sleep. Walking through it I can smell the ripe quince fruits which are waiting to be harvest mixed with the aroma of the fennel seeds. A lonely okra flower is blooming, green tomato still holding on to their plants. The green beans are very happy welcoming the cooler temperatures. The quiet of the Saturday morning allow the senses to savor the moment.
