French street scene in Provence, France.
Wandering through the streets of a pretty town in Provence, you come across all sorts of things. My eyes fall on all the pretty front doors, the different colours, the handles, the flowers growing everywhere, the weeds, the rubbish, the newspapers sticking out of the mailboxes and if possible, I peek inside.
This is how I pass through this little street. It is quiet here. Almost no people to be seen. Night is falling and, as a result, the houses all get less light. The contrasts are also less pronounced, and the one house that has a smaller house opposite and therefore gets more light, stands out here. All the electricity cables running everywhere are also remarkable.
