A Dassault Mirage F1 CR of the French Air Force is ready to take off from Leeuwarden Air Base during exercise Frisian Flag 2013.
The Dassault Mirage F1 is a fighter aircraft of the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation. The aircraft was the successor to the successful Mirage III. Unlike all its relatives, the Mirage F1 did not have delta wings.
The Mirage F1 was the backbone of the French Air Force until the Mirage 2000 entered service in 1984.
