Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Franz & Fredy: The Forest Rescuers of the Black Forest’ by Ingo Laue

In the exclusive series “Black Forest Mythical Creatures: The Character Edition”, two true everyday heroes take centre stage: Franz Keiler and his inseparable mate, the forest firefighter Fredy Spritzenhuber the Hedgehog. Together, they form the team “The Forest Rescuers” – an unbeatable unit when it comes to protecting and managing the local forests. The duo charmingly embodies the strength, courage and unwavering camaraderie that have always been valued in the Black Forest. Franz Keiler, a colossal wild boar, is an experienced forest worker and the specialist for the heavy-duty tasks. Dressed in a classic red-and-black lumberjack shirt and sturdy leather trousers, he shoulders a huge, historic two-man saw with an impressive ease. At his side stands the brave Fredy Spritzenhuber. The little hedgehog, proud in his blue firefighter’s uniform with a gleaming brass helmet, is the safety expert. With a small axe and a rolled-up hose, he is immediately on hand when things get dicey. The deliberate cropping against a neutral white background allows every detail – from the cracked bark on the saw’s handle to the fine spikes on the little fireman’s helmet – to stand out brilliantly. This character study combines a craftsman’s attention to detail with modern digital design and a generous dose of Black Forest humour. A perfect work of art for anyone who wants original characters and genuine ‘forest rescuers’ in their collection.
