Francis Picabia (Paris, 22 January 1879 - there, 30 November 1953) was a French painter. He is considered one of the most industrious pioneers of modern art, since Impressionism. Picabia changed his style very often during his career. Impressionist, Fauvist and Dadaist, figurative and abstract, there is hardly a style he did not practise.
