About "Forgotten greenhouse - Silent decay and the intrusion of nature"

by Infinite Decay

About the artwork

An abandoned greenhouse, marked by time and overgrown by nature, impressively shows the contrast between human construction and the unstoppable force of decay. The once transparent roof panels are now dirty and partially broken, allowing only muted sunlight to penetrate the interior and creating interesting shadow plays. Faded, orange-coloured cloths hang down over the greenhouse roof, presumably once intended to provide protection from direct sunlight. Today, however, they look like relics of another time, marked by gravity and age and partially sagging or torn.

The ground is covered with decaying material and plants making their way through the dilapidated structure. Small bushes and shrubs have taken up residence where once only cultivated plants had room. An old wooden work surface is crooked and covered in leaves and dirt - evidence of years of neglect. The entire room looks like a lost place, frozen in time, where the past and nature have entered into a silent symbiosis. It is a fascinating sight that reveals both melancholy and the beauty of natural decay in a human building.
