In this deserted room stands an old table surrounded by four dusty chairs that were once witnesses to conversations and socialising. The light that falls through the partially broken windows illuminates the room and emphasises the traces of time: dust, cobwebs and the faded wood, which is marked by decay. The walls are riddled with cracks and the once warm wood panelling has lost its shine. The massive radiator on the wall, which has been cold for decades, indicates that life once pulsated here.
The atmosphere of the room is melancholic and mysterious. It seems as if this place has been abandoned in a hurry, perhaps in the middle of a conversation or a meal.
