When the forest anemones emerge, spring has really begun. The flowers open up in the forest and provide a fresh carpet of white and green and with the yellow accents that forms a beautiful whole. The wood anemones in this image were photographed in a beautiful clay forest in Drenthe near Roderwolde. De Kleibosch' is a nature reserve of "Het Drentse Landschap' and there are all kinds of beautiful flowers and also many kinds of mushrooms. The pot clay in this area provides this special vegetation. The photo was taken with a macro lens: canon EF 100 f 2.8L IS USM on the canon 5D Mark II.
