About ‘Ford Mustang (1966)’ by Jelte Bosma

De Ford Mustang is een van de meest in het oog springende modellen van het Amerikaanse autobedrijf Ford. De stylist John Najjar was fan van het gevechtsvliegtuig de P-51 Mustang (vandaar de naam). Het eerste exemplaar rolde op 17 april 1964 van de productieband en sindsdien zijn er zeer veel van verkocht. Wat de auto zo succesvol maakte was zijn sportieve uiterlijk en zijn lage prijs: 23.000 dollar. De Mustang wordt nu nog steeds geproduceerd en is in de VS nog steeds zeer populair. Dat komt doordat zijn prijs vergeleken met soortgelijke auto's met circa 20.000 dollar erg laag is.

Ook in Nederland werd de Mustang in de jaren zestig relatief goed verkocht. De Mustang werd van ongeveer 1965 tot 1967 ook in Nederland geassembleerd, in de Nederlandse Fordfabriek in Amsterdam. Ook het huidige model Mustang wordt in Nederland verkocht.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
