About the artwork

This artwork shows a majestic and icy landscape in which three penguins carefully make their way across a narrow ice edge.

The white snow forms a sharp contrast to the deep turquoise water that lies calmly but mysteriously to their right. The dramatic ice formation rising straight out of the water looks like a frozen sculpture, while the smooth textures of both the ice and water evoke a serene yet fragile atmosphere. The penguins, small in relation to the immense ice mass, seem to be undertaking a courageous expedition in a world where the boundaries between land and water are blurred. The play of light and shadow on the surface of the water creates a sense of movement and depth, as the penguins slowly advance in this silent, overwhelming environment.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
