The path runs through the boggy moors with golden yellow grass on either side. A few trees still try to survive here and provide some extra shade so the ground does not dry up too quickly.
The Korenburgerveen is a nature reserve northwest of Winterswijk in the Dutch province of Gelderland.
It is largely owned by Vereniging Natuurmonumenten and geographically and ecologically forms a whole with the Meddosche Veen, the Vragenderveen and the Corlese Veen.
It consists of raised bog, swamp forest, heathland and nutrient-poor grasslands with woolly grass, peat moss and bog fluff (Wikipedia).
