On a sunny autumn morning, a Fly agaric shoots out of the ground in the Kaapse Bossen on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug near Doorn. Clearly visible are the white spores on this mushroom. It has just emerged from the ground and is growing under a coniferous tree. The light catches it beautifully.
