About "Floral Veil with Butterflies"

About the artwork

A calm side view of a veiled woman turning toward the light. Floral prints and a few butterflies gather around the scarf while the open background keeps the facial contour clear. Color sits close to the cheek and along the folds so the gaze remains the focal point and the silhouette reads strong on the wall.

I developed the piece from gesture sketches and simple value studies. Broad wet on wet passages mapped the flow of fabric and petals, then glazing and dry brush refined eyelashes, lips, petal edges, leaf veins and the small wing details. Transparent washes let subtle paper grain show through, adding sparkle without crowding the face.

The atmosphere is elegant and contemporary. Printed large, the portrait holds cleanly at distance and rewards close viewing with precise line work and soft transitions, pairing easily with neutral textiles and nature inspired decor.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
