Pink flamingo
Flamingos are naturally white. Their food (algae and small crustaceans) gives them their pink colour. The algae contain the substance carotenoid. The body turns this substance into the pink colour. This pink colour ends up in the feathers and that is why flamingos are pink.
Alone or together with Albert and our dogs I go out to take pictures.
I like this so much that I don't mind getting up early to photograph a sunrise or going through all kinds of weather.
