The Markerwaarddijk (also called the Houtribdijk or Enkhuizen-Lelystaddijk) is a 26 km long dam that separates the IJsselmeer from the Markermeer and was constructed between 1963 and 1976. After the Afsluitdijk it is the longest dam in the Netherlands.
