Romance on the wall!
Nothing evokes the spring feeling more than blossom.
These prunus trees are on the corner of our street and bloom early every year, usually around the first day of spring. When I see the buds appear, I know it's going to be spring. And in this year, 2024, that was pretty early. A few weeks earlier than other years, you could see the buds opening and then it's a week of enjoyment. Unfortunately, it is then done for another year, but in autumn there is an encore in the form of beautiful orange leaves.
Fortunately, we have photos's so we can enjoy it all year round.
Extra to this photo is the contrast between the rough tree bark and the delicate soft blossoms.
I focused on the blossom in the foreground, which turns white as the flowers open further, and in the background you can see the pink haze of the other Prunus trees.
