About "Fiat Nuova 500"

About the artwork

The "Cinquecento" Fiat Nuova 500 was built from 1957-1977 in 3,702,078 copies and had 470 to 525 kg. The engine produced 13 to 18 hp, only the Abarth models were more powerful. At the beginning, the little 500 did not have a good reputation at all, especially among the specialist journalists, firstly because of its spartan equipment and its small engine. This was then impressively disproved by six long-distance records in seven days with six drivers in February on the Monza race track in the 350 to 500 cc class. As Abarth had rebuilt this Fiat 500 Elaborazione, it too could prove that a considerable increase in power did not come at the expense of robustness and longevity. Fresh air only came in through the front vent windows, as the windows were not initially fitted with cranks to lower them. Instead, it was built with a folding roof, as you can still see a lot of them being driven with today. In hot Italy, where daily average temperatures of around 40° Celsius in summer are quite normal, this was a good compensation. The designer was Dante Giacosa (1909-1996), who designed and was responsible for countless models at Fiat, such as the Fiat Topolino, Autobianchi Bianchina, Fiat 127, Fiat 1500, Fiat 130 and many more.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
