The rising sun shone right through these natural, silver wind catchers. I found the twigs earlier amidst the greenery, during a walk through the forest they have been on my table ever since. It looked so special and fun that I immediately grabbed my camera. No flash or extra light needed... Purely the sun against the leaf. That's what I love most about photography; natural daylight. Pure as it is at that moment. By the way, these leaves are not that shiny right away; first the seeds have to fall off in another, protective layer before they look like this.
A simple walk with my camera in my hand sometimes makes me lose myself in the world around me. Details, lines, patterns, the sunlight suddenly illuminating a path or a wall, I love it. I prefer being in nature and that is what inspires me most,.. Read more…
