The Ferrari 599 is a Gran Turismo in a class of its own! As is so often the case with Ferrari, this fantastic car is available in many different versions - for the road and as a model for motorsport. In 2006, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was introduced with its V12 front engine and an output of 456 kW (620 hp), which is regarded as the successor to the Ferrari 575. The 599 is available as a coupé, as a GTO version and in a special series as a convertible.
Later, a version for motorsport was added, the Ferrari 599XX. This was presented at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show and produces 537 kW (730 hp) at 9000 rpm. Thanks to the consistent use of CFRP body parts, special alloys in the engine block and a ceramic brake system, it was possible to reduce the dry weight by over 200 kg.
