Fallow deer are fascinating animals: with their impressive antlers and gentle nature, they capture the imagination. I even think they are like fairy tale animals. As long as you keep your distance from them, they keep looking at you inquisitively. In summer, they have a beautiful velvet coating over their still-growing antlers.
