About the artwork

Located on the western tip of Flores Island in the Azores, Fajã Grande is one of the most idyllic villages in the archipelago. This remote paradise is known for its rugged coastline, lush vegetation, and the serenity it exudes. Here, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, lies a charming traditional house that blends perfectly into the natural splendour of its surroundings.

The house, built in the authentic Azorian style with white walls and a roof of red tiles, is surrounded by a picturesque landscape. Behind the house, green mountains stretch out, covered with flowers and ferns. In front of the house is the vast Atlantic Ocean, whose waves beat rhythmically against the cliffs. The fresh sea air and the sound of the water create a sense of complete tranquillity.

In the distance, you can see waterfalls crashing from the cliffs, a typical feature of Flores, also known as the "flower island". The light of the late afternoon sun reflects on the water, creating a magical effect. Fajã Grande is a place where you feel the pace of life slowing down, a haven for those seeking natural beauty and simplicity.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
