About "Facel Vega HK 500"

About the artwork

Facel Vega HK 500 the ultimate, best automobile that France built in the 50s and 60s and at the same time another masterpiece by Jean Daninos. A French luxury armoured car that was often and rightly mentioned in the same breath as Rolls-Royce models. Under the bonnet, it was equipped with a large-volume Chrysler Typhoon V8 Special, 5.9 litres with hemispherical combustion chambers ("Hemi") and high compression, which made it possible to reach at least 225 km/h without any effort. It was also equipped with the best that was available on the automotive market and was correspondingly expensive before it was finished.

Customers included Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Moroccan King Hassan II, the actress Ava Gardner, the racing driver Stirling Moss, Ringo Starr from the Beatles and many more.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
