About "F-16 Fighting Falcon"

About the artwork

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multi-purpose jet fighter that has been widely used since 1979. In the Netherlands and Belgium, among other countries, it was the successor to the F-104 Starfighter. In Belgium, the F-16 also replaced the Mirage 5. In the Netherlands, the F-5 was also replaced by the F-16. The aircraft was designed by General Dynamics. The factory of General Dynamics was taken over by Lockheed Martin.
Although the F-16 is officially christened as the "Fighting Falcon", it is also referred to by pilots and ground personnel as the "Viper" , but this is only a reference to the F-16V which officially has the designation 'Viper'. A less common nickname is Electric Jet, because the F-16 is the first fly-by-wire fighter aircraft.
The current Dutch and Belgian version of the F-16 is the F-16A/B MLU (Mid-Life Update). This is the original version from 1979, which was brought to a higher standard by upgrades, which also guaranteed the availability for several years longer. In the Netherlands and Belgium, the F-16 is replaced by the F-35.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
