The Speulder- en Sprielderbos between Ermelo, Putten and Garderen and near the hamlet of Drie, is known for the legend of the dancing trees. Trees that have not grown straight towards the light but with twisting trunks and branches have grown into what is known as the dancing trees. Wind makes the branches move and in strong winds also visible the the tops of the trees.
Hence these deliberately "moved" photos to make the trees "dance". The abstract nature, still lives of fading life.
