In the north of Groningen, where the horizon seems endless, an enchanting red tulip field stretches out. The sun hangs low in the sky, colouring the sky in fiery hues of orange, pink and gold. Each petal catches the last light of the day, making it seem as if the tulips themselves are glowing.
The scent of the flowers mingles with the fresh sea breeze, and the gentle rustling of the petals in the breeze gives a sense of calm. Farmhouses at the edge of the field stand out sharply against the warm evening light.
Walking among the rows of tulips, you feel the silence of the Groningen landscape - grand, expansive and peaceful. It is a moment when nature and light find each other in quiet harmony. Here, under the descending sun, the red of the tulips takes on an almost magical depth.
