Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Evening glow at St. Coloman's Church in Bavaria’ by Raoul Baart

A clear evening at St. Coloman's Church in the Allgäu region of Germany. The sun had just set but was still shining on the few wisps of cloud hanging in the sky, adding some extra colour to this beautiful autumn evening.
St. Coloman's Church was built in the 17th century near the town of Schwangau. It is a pilgrimage church, built on a pilgrimage route to replace an older chapel that had once been built there in honour of an Irish pilgrim (St. Coloman). Around that old chapel, a plague cemetery was laid out in 1633-1635, where some 300 villagers who had died of the plague found their final resting place, and the wall around the current church still marks the boundary of that former cemetery.
The church is situated in a beautiful landscape and close to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle (and the slightly less famous Hohenschwangau Castle), and is therefore visited by many tourists in Bavaria.
