About "Erfurt Krämerbrücke at Christmas"

About the artwork

The picture shows Erfurt's Krämerbrücke during the Advent season - a historic ensemble that is unique in Europe due to its dense development and medieval structure. The cobbled street is lined with half-timbered houses whose windows and façades are decorated with discreet Christmas lights. Strings of lights stretch across the alleyway, including a shining star that structures the scene as a central element. Small Christmas trees and planters complete the festive street scene.

The Krämerbrücke is not only a landmark of Erfurt, but also a lively place with small shops and workshops. Its history dates back to the 14th century and makes it a cultural centre of the city.

My inspiration for this picture was the special atmosphere of the pre-Christmas period - not loud or cluttered, but calm, atmospheric and rich in detail. The aim was to visualise the connection between history, light and seasonal design.

The image conveys a feeling of urban security and timeless festivity. It invites you to pause and discover the details of the scene.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
