The Erfurt Cathedral is the most important and oldest church building in Erfurt. It is 81.26 m high and has the Gloriosa, the largest free-swinging bell in the world from the Middle Ages.
The Severi Church is a church building of the Roman Catholic Church in Erfurt. It stands on the Domberg directly next to Erfurt Cathedral. As a unique architectural ensemble, both churches together form the city's landmark.
