About "Erfurt - Anger - Tramway black and white"

About the artwork

This black and white photo shows the central square "Anger" in Erfurt at night. The focus is on a tram making its way through the city at night along the curved tracks in the foreground. The surrounding buildings are discreetly lit, while street lamps and shop windows create a contrasting play of light. Pedestrians move through the scene, lending it a quiet liveliness.

The Anger is not only a traffic junction, but also a historically evolved place with urban planning significance. The mixture of classicist and modern architecture makes it an exciting subject for urban photography.

My inspiration was the idea of capturing movement and structure in one moment - reduced to light, shadow and form. The decision to use black and white was deliberate: it draws attention to lines, contrasts and the timeless aesthetics of urban space.

The atmosphere is calm, almost contemplative. The picture is intended to inspire pause - a moment of stillness in the midst of the urban rhythm. It tells of everyday life without being banal.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
