Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Emission nebula in the constellation Swan above Grindelwald’ by Martin Steiner

While the summer Milky Way can be seen, some very beautiful and interesting emission nebulae can be seen in the constellation of the Swan. NGC 7000 as the North American Nebula, IC 5070 as the Pelican Nebula and IC 1318 as the Butterfly Nebula Also good to see is Deneb a large giant. Shot with tracking and tripod for a good 90 minutes…
