About "Elephant with baby in the savannah"

About the artwork

I took this picture on safari in Botswana in the Okavango Delta Nature Reserve. Many large herds of elephants roam the widely branching tributaries of the Okavango. elephants are known for their complex social structure. They live in family groups where experiences are passed on and the bond between members is strengthened. This social structure has an impact on behaviour and communication throughout the ecosystem. Incidentally, elephant mothers show an impressive caring attitude towards their babies. They guide their young with a gentle trunk touch and teach them how to navigate the complex world of the savannah. Baby elephants are playful explorers. They use their curious trunks to explore the environment, practising skills they will need later in life, such as grasping food or seeking shelter. Elephants communicate not only with sounds, but also through touch. Baby elephants are lovingly cared for by the older members of the herd and thus learn the importance of community and belonging. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
