About the artwork

An elephant drinks water from the Okavango Delta with relish. The tranquil river, framed by green banks, reflects the harmonious connection between the majestic animals and their unique environment. Here, in the midst of Botswana's lush nature, the majestic grace of this impressive pachyderm is revealed in its natural environment.

Elephants are not only masters on land, but also on water. After their thirst is quenched, they often bathe extensively. Mud bathing is a favourite way for elephants to cool off on hot days, while protecting their skin from the sun.

Elephants are not gourmets in the conventional sense - they move in large groups through vast areas in search of the best food sources. This nomadic behaviour leaves a lasting mark on the landscape. Besides grasses, elephants also appreciate the bark of trees. Their impressive strength enables them to peel off even the toughest bark and enjoy the nutrients underneath.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
