A beautiful Spanish picture: the village of El Castell de Guadalest in the province of Alicante. The crenellated tower perched on the rocks is a remnant of the Castillo de la Alcozaiba, a fortress built by Muslims in the 11th century. The white tower with the orange roof is the bell tower of Guadalest. The large white house in the foreground is the Casa Orduña, which was built by the Orduña family after the great earthquake of 1644. On the far left of the picture, you can see a church, the Església de l'Assumpció. In the background, the reservoir of Guadalest shines with its beautiful turquoise colour. A piece of the dam can also be seen on the right side of the reservoir.
