Spooky woodland scene in the fog. The day after a huge storm hit the forests on the other side of the mountain we found this forest on the other side. This had stayed unaffected and the sun was shining but we had seen patches of fog on the way over there and so we decided to just start hiking and wait if something would happen. At one point the fog rolled in and it evaporated again before I had even made two photographs. I was still fiddling with my composition, which I usually spend a long time on, and the fog was no longer there. A few minutes later the fog rolled in again and I could make this image of quite eerie looking trees. I looked and wondered how on earth this was possible to stay up like this. Little further down the path there was an octopus like tree that I also wanted to photograph, but the fog disappeared and did not come back.
