About "EasyJet takes off from wet Schiphol runway"

About the artwork

Sometimes it's not just the plane or the timing, but the circumstances that make a shot special. I took this photo at Schiphol Airport as a smaller EasyJet aircraft accelerated for take-off. The runway was still wet from a recent shower, and as the plane built up speed, a spectacular cloud of mist and splashing water shot up behind the wheels. The contrast between EasyJet's bright orange and the grey ground gave the image extra power. You can almost feel the power of the turbines and the slight vibration of the tarmac through the lens. Moments like these are rare, brief, but intense, and make aircraft photography so addictive for me. One second earlier or later, and you miss the effect completely. Everything is right here: the action, the weather conditions and the right camera at the right time.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
