It is early morning. There is mist in the air and before the early morning sun. The haze and sunlight colours the sky an unusual sea blue. The seagulls are in their element, screeching and flying criss-cross through the air hunting for fish and other delicacies like flying insects.
The sun shines on the trees, houses, wind turbine and embankment. The sunlight is both warm and a little dramatic. What will the day bring?
On the bank of the dyke, a black cat sits watching the fish in the water. To the cat's right is a small rowing boat. There are also large boulders on this part of the dyke as a buffer against the waves and to protect the concrete embankment. But the steps on either side of the water barrier also serve as additional reinforcement against the force of the water.
