Shortly after sunrise, I find the ambience on the Mediterranean coast in Calpe and Benissa particularly charming. The rocks in the small coves are illuminated by the warm sunlight. The sea is calm and the sight of the Peñón de Ifach Nature Park is omnipresent.
I took this photo in the small cove called Cala Pinets. It is dedicated to the warm morning light and coastal landscapes on the northern Costa Blanca in Spain. At the beginning of the day, I like to be on the beach. I particularly love the places where rock formations meet blue sea water. The moment when the landscape is bathed in enchanting colours and just before the first visitors arrive at the beach inspires me a lot.
The striking mountain on the Mediterranean called Peñón de Ifach (Penyal d'Ifac) is the landmark of the coastal town of Calpe. From its summit, 332 metres above sea level, you have a fantastic view of the wide sea and the Costa Blanca. This photo is meant to bring the Mediterranean charm of the Costa Blanca and its beautiful coves into your home.
