About "Early Glory over the Polder"

About the artwork

What a moment: you are driving through the quiet polder and suddenly everything is bathed in gold and orange. This sunrise near Drunen grabbed me immediately. The sky seemed to be on fire, while the ground was still gently enveloped in mist - that typical Dutch morning mist. In the middle of this painting of light and colour stood one tree, proud and silent.

The contrast between the tree's dark silhouette and the fiery sky behind it drew me in - like an anchor point in endless space. The composition is simple but powerful: that one tree, captured symmetrically, with soft shadows in the grass slowly dissolving into the mist.

I felt small and at the same time completely connected to this landscape. As if the world was just starting over.

📍 Location info:
This photo was taken in the polder near Drunen, North Brabant. An open area with wide views, bordering the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, known for its alternation of forest, meadows and sand drifts.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
