I am a brother of Evert Hartgers †, my name is Willem Hartgers and the owner of his artworks this collection I have given myself the name EH PAINTING ARTS.

Evert had brain stem inflammation in 2014 and passed away in 2018.

Evert did not see himself as an artist but as a hobbyist. Everyone can make their own judgement on that after seeing his oeuvre but I have a different opinion: an arty hobbyist.

He does not hide his affinity with the great painter…
