Historic postcard from 1907 of the Four Country Point where Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and neutral Moresnet meet. There were four versions of this map. This is the Dutch version. Neutral Moresnet existed for more than a hundred years. It was shaped like a pie slice and located south of today's Three Countries Point near Vaals. It was rightly called a mini-state, as it was only 344 hectares in size and had a perimeter of 11 km. Originally, it had only 256 inhabitants. For the longest period of its existence, however, it formed a Four Country Point with Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
