The Broekpolder is an approximately 400-hectare polder west of the Vlaardingervaart canal in the municipalities of Vlaardingen and Midden-Delfland in the Dutch province of South Holland.
The word 'broek' (brouck) in the name Broekpolder refers to the original peat bog. From 1595 to 1963, the Broekpolder water board (under Vlaardingen and Maasland) was responsible for the dyeing, reclamation and subsequent water management of the polder. The water board was first attached to the municipality of Vlaardingen, but later joined the Delfland Water Board.
