Dutch Crested Grouse
This is one of the oldest Dutch breeds.
Only a few weeks old were the chickens I had in the studio last week, but as you can see they can pose like the best of them!
It is an atmospheric photo with a beautiful chick and the background includes a painting by one of the old masters.
