Misty sunrise in the dunes on the North Sea coastline of Terschelling, one of the Dutch Waddeneilanden. This particular morning we discovered how utterly disorientating it is to walk around in the fog on a beach. These dunes looked stunning with their cool shadows and the warm light from the rising sun. The wind shapes them differently every single day, which is probably why I love photographing the Dutch coastline so very much. Everything is fleeting, yet it looks timeless.
